Integration Principle
One thing that I have found about working out is that the best thing that I can do is integrate it in with what I am already doing.
For instance, I have to teach and take classes at a university a few times a week some semesters. So instead of trying to find the closest spot to a door, I find the one farthest way. This has several benefits. 1) Less stress. I always find the spot that I want:). 2) I’m going to have to walk anyway. This only adds a few minutes to my day, but it adds a few miles to my workout each day as well, with out much additional effort on my part. 3) My mind is usually clearing upon getting to the classroom. I have a little extra time to clear my head before everyone comes rushing in.
So here is an example of the route that I take. I could go straight to my building, but by doing two 3/4 loops I get 4 miles in instead of just 1. And getting there only adds about 15-20 minutes extra. Not much really.
And the topograpy is really nice. There are several paths that I am able to take that actually move me away from the street and since BYU is built on a hill there are a few more ups and downs that there may otherwise be in a regular city. In fact there is a canal that runs long a good section of it that makes it a little more interesting as well. It looks more like a stream than a canal.
Anyway, so tip number 1 on being healthier. INTEGRATE the workouts into what you are doing already.
Keep it up!

There are all sorts of ways to do this – even just in the home. If every time you passed a staircase you set a rule to go all the way down and then all the way up, you could burn some good calories during the day – especially if you worked from home or were a stay at home parent.
We can walk around the neighborhood as well. I try to take the long way to anything when I am walking. And if I'm within two miles I will walk it instead of drive it.
In and of themselves it will not add up to much on the weight lose regime on any given day, but over time the increased metabolism will make a difference. And I think that we start to feel better even before our bodies visibly respond. I know that I can tell a difference.
Thanks for the comments.
I think you like to go always college to teach the students but some times we can't reach on time, you have said that you take 15 to 20 minutes on foot to go that college and i think always walking is great way every time for health concern, mentally we will be free,we can feel free because i like to walk always most of the time i spend 1 hour daily to walk.
You have shared good experiences to us so it may be useful to me also.
Thank you.
