Say goodby to the fat(er) belt – now down about 75lbs of fat

One of the greatest days in a weight loss regime is hitting the end of a belt and needing to punch whole in it in order to make it still work for you.

I’ve got this great belt. I really like the way it looks, the texture etc. I bought it at the hight of my fatness – 44/46 inches around the waist. When I bought it I was in the middle of the holes. I then gained enough pounds to where it was tight at the very end of the belt. Now, 3 months later I’ve had to put 3 new holes in it for a total of about 7 inches lost.

punching holes in the belt to make it fit my smaller wait

For the first time in years I can fit (tightly still) into my size 38 jeans. I was originally hoping to get down to just 36 inches, but I think at this point I’m going to shoot for 34.

Overall, not too bad for less than 4 months worth of work!

kudos to you!! How exciting and inspiring!

I knew there was a reason I was hanging on to your skinny pants. :-) Think of all the money we will save, not having to buy new clothes to fit, just using the ones we already have for you. I must have had inspiration here, since I am NOT a pack rat and I clean out stuff and send it off to DI all the time. The only thing left to do is get your suit and sports coat altered to fit better – but that is also way less expensive than buying new. So many economic advantages of losing weight. Good job honey.

Congratulations. Its so nice when you have some sort of visible reference for your weight loss. Just seeing the number on the scale doesn't have the full impact that a comparison item does. Good luck on your continued endeavors.

well i think think belt must be a great one and i must try it.can you please help me to buy this superb belt.

That is fantastic and that too in a period of 4 months. All the very best and i'm sure you will get to the 34 mark pretty soon.

Congratulations on your successful weight loss. As most of us know, this can be terribly difficult and frustrating. I like the idea of punching holes in the belt. It really is a great way to measure your success. I may try this, too. I'll just have to buy a hole punch. <g>
